Our client is a renowned expert in contactless welding technology. They provide a wide range of pre-integrated solutions, both hardware and software, for high volume industrial applications, having customers in more than 25 countries worldwide in the automotive and electro-mobility sectors. For the HQ located in Munich, they are currently looking for a highly motivated and self-driven: Technical Editor Full-time in Munich I Hybrid

Your Role:

• • Create and update technical documents such as hardware and installation manuals, operating manuals and software manuals
  • New conception of training programmes; creation and maintenance of training documents with T3 LCM (a plug-in for SCHEMA ST4)
  • Close cooperation with the development teams, training and service staff, and product management
  • Creation and editing of photos, graphics and illustrations
  • Coordination with external partners for translation/localisation

Your Profile:

• University degree or similar education in the field of computer science or engineering
• Several years of experience in technical writing
• Experience with the editing system SCHEMA ST4 (or similar systems) and willingness to learn how to use other software tools, e.g. the T3 Learning Content Manager (T3 LCM)
• Ability to present complex technical content in a comprehensible, subject- and target group-oriented manner
• Basic skills in image, graphics editing
• Good technical understanding and enthusiasm for technology
• Team-player, independent work and good organizational skills
• Fluency in English and German (B1/B2)
